Getting organised: Is this helpful for our health? In many ways, organising our lives and surroundings can be beneficial to our feeling of well being. Organising our routines and getting this down on paper by making lists will free our minds from it. We need to organise our budgets, make meal lists, make a schedule for regular visits, appointments and shopping. Then we can concentrate on what really matters; where we are and where we are going in life.

Starting your Organising

Where do we start with organising? The main area of getting organised in our lives is our daily routine. If budgets, meal plans and shopping lists are written down then you have cleared your mind from worrying about them. What results are you looking for when you organise something? Are you wanting to make more time in the day for work and recreation? When organising your daily routine are you looking to make your daily tasks simpler? You may be able to streamline your routine. Making a to-do list of your daily routine and lifestyle will outline what cost, time and effort you need for this.

Sorting out Your Routine

Give yourself a reasonable deadline to carry out your organising project. For instance, sorting out your routine and getting organised could take a matter of weeks to establish. You need to try out your new routine to see if it does make a difference and if you are happy with it. You might need to try different routines until you find the right one for you.

Places and Spaces to Organise

Similarly, organising spaces and places like your living and working areas could have a similar effect of clearing your mind. The feeling of organised space in our surroundings can create a place that is both relaxing and allows us to focus on other tasks. We don’t have to worry about having to find things hidden under clutter. Everything we need for daily tasks will be within reach and easy to find. There won’t be any more lost items that take precious time to have to find.

The TadFan Goals planner, helped me get clarity and perspective on my life. I was at a crossroads. I didn’t know which way to turn, I needed something to help me find my way and this was perfect to give me guidance on where to start. I wouldn’t be without one these days as it keeps me on track with whatever I need to focus on and achieve.

John Miles

What a great planner. I was so disorganised and didn’t know where I was going or what I was doing, With the goals planner and with help from my pathfinder I managed to get all my ducks in order and I feel so much more in control of my life, instead of a complete scatty mess, not knowing where I am or what I’m doing one day to the next.

Ellie James

I wouldn’t be without my planner, it comes everywhere with me. I make time to have just 20 minutes to myself to think of the next step to move me forward to my goals. Just by doing this one little thing daily with the help of my planner I have achieved more in 6 months than I have in 20 years. Louise Morgan
