Finding Your Purpose
Many people find it hard and mind-twisting to answer the question ‘what is your purpose?’ A seemingly simple question but when it comes to explain and break it down, it becomes so dauntingly difficult. So what is your purpose? Most of us even those in advanced age have not found the perfect answer to fill in this ideological gap.
Often, most people have confused the notion of purpose with their careers or roles they have been forced by fate to take on. Your purpose should be that which is meant to be done and accomplished by you in your lifetime.
To find your purpose there are some questions you need to ask yourself to get the clarity. These questions are:
Who Am I and What Role Do I Play?
This is a key definitive question that will give you an insight of your true self and what impact you do have to those around you. Asking yourself this question is the first step in finding your purpose as you will know your real definitive stance.
What Do I Do and Am I Content With It?
This question will dig deeper to what you are doing at the moment be it your profession or role in the society. This question will help you have a hint about your purpose; your career may be your purpose in life only that you have not realised it. Satisfaction and being content should also be considered at your present niche and if not how do you plan on achieving it.
What Is My Passion In Life and Am I Achieving It?
This question will lead you to determine what it is it that you really like doing. Your passion is that one thing you really want to accomplish in or have in your life. Knowing what your passion is will drive you to your set goals and you will be in a position to know your purpose in life.
Finding your purpose in life will put you in a state that you will be able to accomplish your goals easily as well as giving you a better understanding of yourself. Understanding yourself will help you appreciate yourself as well as others around you.
